Meet the Trainer

Fred Paxton

Hi everyone! My name is Fred Paxton and I am the owner and trainer at PAX Fitness. At PAX Fitness, we focus on building a better you through customized training plans and nutrition, and by also focusing on your overall wellness. My goal is to give others the tools to live a HAPPY, HEALTHY, and WHOLE life.

I got into personal training about 25 years ago after I began training for MMA and boxing. I have always enjoyed exercising and working out and I later found a passion for training others. Since then, I have made personal training my career and have loved teaching others about the benefits of healthy lifestyle choices that include exercise, proper nutrition, and positive lifestyle habits. PAX Fitness strives to create a positive and encouraging environment where it is not just about exercise and you are empowered to fulfill your greatest potential.

Outside of being a trainer and working out, I enjoy reading, collecting books, woodworking, and most importantly, spending time with my family and practicing my faith. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for almost 40 years and have been blessed with 5 children and 10 grandchildren.

  • PAX Fitness loves working with people of all ages, but helping busy professionals who are deep in their careers, and trying to balance work, health, and family deserve a different type of attention that PAX Fitness knows all about. We want to help those who feel overwhelmed and their busy schedules don't allow them to prioritize their health.

  • PAX Fitness will encourage and enable you to become the "Overcomer" you are meant to be. We will be with you every step of the way to help you develop an elevated sense of well-being.

  • At PAX Fitness, we want to give you the tools necessary for you to succeed in your fitness journey. We are especially desirous to reach out to those who have never attempted a fitness journey. If you have never lifted weights or followed a fitness program, PAX Fitness will guide you through the correct form and techniques of lifting weights and exercise, as well as gain the knowledge and tools you need to accomplish your goals.
